Hi! I'm Christy

Christy, founder and CEO of Christy Russell Consulting is wearing a beige sweater. Her long brown hair falls in waves over both shoulders.

What do you need most right now?

That question is the foundation of our work together.

Why?

Because I am a passionate soul, just like you. I know what it’s like to work tirelessly to make the world we live in better for everyone. And I know that work, while important and rewarding, is just as hard.

If we don’t address your immediate needs, any plans for the future will take on the problems of today.

You deserve a strategy that aligns with your mission, vision, and values. A strategy that honors where you are today and where you want to be in the future. One that is easy to follow and implement.

You deserve a strategy that makes you say, “ooh that resonates,” and improves efficiency, ignites creativity, and increases profits.

Improve Efficiency

Time contributes to profitability. If you are not using time efficiently, you are directly affecting your bottom line. When we put together your strategy, we outline available and needed resources to achieve your goals.

Ignite Creativity

Creativity drives innovation. If you struggle to find time to get creative, you give in to maintaining status quo. When we focus on creativity and innovation, you find your unique path to success.

Increase Profits

A custom tailored strategy is the roadmap for success. Strategic direction focuses your efforts on work that aligns with your mission, directs the investment of resources, and forecasts how you earn money.

Leadership can be lonely, but you are not alone...

Imagine getting precisely the right help at exactly the right time.

Did you know that working with a coach, consultant, or advisor leads to:

– 70% increase in individual performance
– 50% increase in team performance
– 788% Return on Investment

I know firsthand how it feels to be so driven, so passionate about work that it becomes all-consuming. Before I started Christy Russell Consulting, I was the Director of Operations for a State Agency. I worked 10-12 hour days and rarely made a dent in my to do list. Setting strategic direction, improving processes, and developing standard operating procedures – while working within a bureaucracy – ultimately broke me.

Now I help leaders like you find balance and support your journey from merely surviving to thriving.

Introducing

Christy Russell Consulting

After experiencing extreme burn-out working in government bureaucracy, I knew it was time for a change. I wanted control of my time and income. I craved balance. I needed more time to do what I love with the people I love.

I want that for you too. I want you to define your version of a wealthy, healthy, and successful life – I would be honored to be a part of making it happen.

If you find yourself overwhelmed with your daily to do list, struggling to develop a strategy to help your organization grow, and if you need help determining the right first step to take to achieve your goals – let’s chat – our first meeting is on the house!

01

My biggest professional accomplishment

When my youngest son received his autism diagnosis, I founded a nonprofit that enhances the quality of life for children with special healthcare needs and their families across the lifespan. I wanted to make sure that families like mine have access to the resources and services they need within the region they live. I am so proud that nonprofit is still serving local families today.

02

Things that make me proud

Besides my 3 amazing sons and picking a pretty awesome husband to do life with – I am really proud of my willingness to face fears. From jumping out of a plane, to moving away from friends and family, from leaving a really stable job to starting a brand-new business from scratch… I like to face fear and change with a brave face, an open mind, and an adventurous heart.

Fun Facts

In the winter, my favorite place to be is in front of the fireplace with cup of coffee, snuggled under a fluffy blanket, and reading a book. In the summer, I am most often found by the pool with a book in my hand. In between, you can find me volunteering for my favorite nonprofit, taking a walk in the woods, or baking snacks for my three teenage boys with insatiable appetites.

In my 20-year career, I managed retail stores, day camps, competitive cheerleading events and a flight school. I founded a nonprofit, managed state and federal funds, and most recently was the director of operations for state government.

Of the last 3 small businesses I worked with, all 3 celebrated revenue increases between 50% and 250%! Creating systems, standard operating procedures, restructuring staff, and implementing action plans helped prepare for the incredible growth. Strategic planning ensured that as revenue grew, the organizations had the resources to handle and sustain the growth.

Starting a business is easy, running a business is hard. When you work for yourself, it can be lonely… But you are not alone! Helping busy entrepreneurs thrive in business and life is what I do.

You are a servant leader, passionate about your mission and programs. The nonprofit landscape is changing and it is on you to plan for the future growth and sustainability of your organization.

Your to do list is a mile long and only gets longer by the day. It feels impossible to set aside time to think about the future, but you know it is the only way you can find more time so you can earn more money.
